Originally from the Dominican Republic, Dhayana Alejandrina always turned to journaling and writing as a way to explore and process her emotions and deeper knowledge of self. She just published her debut poetry collection Agridulce, and is encouraging writers to express their truths fearlessly and prioritize their wellbeing by “grinding with softness.”
